yes, i love bowling and i think it's an awesome idea. you're right, too many people make the mistake of going to the movie, where you can't really talk.
another good idea is ice skating. it's fun and if you want time alone with her, you probably won't all be skating in a group the entire time. and if you're not good or she's not good, you guys can help each other.

Bowling is fun.. I would probably laugh.. but a lot of my friends love bowling.. The date situations I have been on we always go to a coffee shop and or book store, which is great for time to talk, but if your girl doesn't like coffee or books then... Idk.. take her shopping... I think that would have to be painful for you..but if you really really like her... Sporting events are fun.. The drive would always take at least 30 minutes which is great for talking.. It really depends on what she likes.. I mean for fun I would go to college fairs on dates but I promise that is not a typical thing. So find out what she likes and take her there... Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

well when your bowling you cant talk that much cause when its one of yall's turn yall will have to leave to go play right in the middle of a conversation so maybe just take her out to eat or somethin but maybe if you have an ice skating rink you can go ice skating for a group date cuz you can hold hands and skate away from the group lol well anyway good luck

i think something fun like bowling is a great idea. so you can laugh and have fun. nothing too serious, nice compliments are always a signal that you like a girl. so maybe she'd get that hint. but why dont you just tell her you like her? something like 'i really enjoy hanging out with you and i really like you. do you feel the same?' it doesnt really matter what you say, it getting the guts to say it thats the hard part.

if she likes bowling, then ask her to go bowling. She might be more comfortable on a date with other girls around (like a double date).
