Me and my friends have talked about it and something about a single guy with a cat just seems gay.

Those that are calling me insecure are probably the weird cat guys. I'm not insecure with my sexuality at all.

Nothing wrong with it. Alot of straight guys go for cats. I won't date a guy unless he is a cat lover.

A single guy with a cat? I'd totally date a single guy with a cat, as I love cats. I also have plenty of guy friends with cats, and personally wouldn't date a guy that didn't like my kitty. Your friends that think it is gay for a guy to have a cat are the gays and need to be checked out. Would a girl with a husky be a lesbian? No.
Having a cat, like the others said, shows responsibility, sensitivity (not the 'omg i'm gay' sensitivity, the mature kind), and that the guy is capable of emotion, all which is what most girls go for in a guy.

Weird, there is nothing wrong with a guy with a cat and that doesn't mean hes gay, geeez where do people come up with these ideas. Cats are great pets and require less care then dogs and are more independent, which when a guy is working this is good. the cat is always happy to see him when he gets home, better then some women I know , who ***** all night.Give the guy he break, it shows hes caring thats all. I would like that.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a guy having a cat. It doesn't effect his masculinity in any way.
Some people like cats, others dogs.

It doesn't mean the guy is gay. That would be like saying if a girl has a dog she is a lesbian. I have cats so it is an automatic "no" to a guy that doesn't like them.

I see nothing wrong with a guy having a cat. I can't see how you would consider that gay. I would consider it that he is a sensitive type person.

i do not believe it seems gay. I think a cat is a good animal to have. You do not have to give them as much time and care as you do a dog. By that, I mean taking to potty, bathing, groomming, etc.

I love guys that arent afraid to have a cat and take good care of it. Any guy that is willing to care for an animal is cute!
