Some people want "pet bulls", Staffordshire or these huge monstrositys that can`t walk ten feet without breathing hard and look like a pig. Breeding for looks and color such as Razorsedge and Gotti is just as bad. Anybody can get two dogs to fight and one tenth of one percent might know what they are doing. Honest dogmen need to know if the dog is game or not and there is only one way to do this and it helps keep what the APBT should be. If not, you might as well start looking for 38 to 54 lb. poodles because that is what you`ll end up with. You do`nt train a game APBT to fight it is born into the dog.You people will never see a top dog match much less a game APBT so do`nt get your panties in such a wad.

It's criminal and so very cruel to those poor animals. I wouldn't care if it was my own brother or son doing it, I would report them.
The way they bred that breed for fighting has ruined the Pit Bull
altogether. In the last two days there has been two articles of Pit Bulls attacking for no apparent reason......If we would get stronger and do something more than slap the human's hand this would not be as big as it is.
We fine these people and if it is a third or fourth offense they might get 30 days in jail. That is not enough. For everyone arrested they should never be able to have any kind of animal again. Then they should be taken out in the middle of the street in downtown, U.S.A. and beat up until they can't move. When they try and crawl away they get kicked. They get beat until they pass out. Then throw them in jail to serve their time. They stay in the same clothes during the term in jail. They live on bread and water.
I keep telling all of you, it we didn't cover the criminals like we do and really give them the punishment they deserve, we would not have the awful crimes that we do. No one gets punished. A criminal can call a mistrial if someone mentions his aunt Dee and his name in the same sentence. Before he finished fighting over it, the judge will say, "O.K. I am sorry, you have suffered enough, you can go. Never hurt a child or animal again, you hear?"

Please report ANY dog fighting, whether it be street dog fighting or so called professional dog fighting. It's estimated that 3 million Pit Bull Terriers are euthanized each year. Pit Bulls are being banned all around the world because of irresponsible owners. I have a million reasons why you should report this abuse, but I hope you find it in your heart to do the right thing and report.

I would report it. Pit bull fighting is cruel to the animals. Even if dogs "naturally" fight, as some may argue, in a pit bull fight the loser has no "escape." Also, other less aggressive dogs and puppies are sometimes used as bait to train fighting dogs, and are usually maimed or killed in the process.
Pit bulls can be very loyal and loving pets, but using them to fight betrays the trust they place in their human owners, is very painful and dangerous for the dogs, and is ILLEGAL.
I would report it. You don't have to let everyone know if you're going to report them... BE SMART, be discreet, drop a note to the cops or animal control, tell them you want to remain anonymous, and don't tell anyone that you reported the people who are fighting the dogs.

I think the people who participate in pit bull fighting should be shot. They are the reason that pit bulls got such a bad rap in the first place. And yes of course I would report it.

I do NOT condone Pit Bull fighting (or any other dog fights). It is cruel and inhumane to train dogs to fight one another. I would turn them in and not think twice about it... even if it was a family member or friend. Then again I don't have friends who would condone such behavior. Two of my closest friends are twins and both are Vets. It's all about quality of life for the animals and dog fights have NO VALUE for a dog.

Absolutely!!!! No doubt about it. Pit bulls can be the most wonderful part of the family. They guard their family with pride. I used to have one and she was great. Fighting them is illegal and abuse. They get tore up and killed most of the time. The animal doesn't deserve being treated like that. Pit bulls are loyal dogs. They love people. Its the owner that makes them mean like this. I hate it!!!!!!!!

I think anything that puts harm, or hurts a living thing is ridiculous, and people who enjoy watching animals get hurt sicken me. And hell yes if I encountered someone who made pitt bulls, or any animal for that matter fight on purpose, for pleasure and enjoyment I would report them as sure as I'm typing this.

I would definately report it. That is obvoiusly animal cruelty. I can't stand people who get off doing stupid, senseless things like this. I have worked for a vet for a long time and have seen some of the victims of pitt fighting. It is sad to see them suffer for someome's enjoyment.
