How do I email you my testimony, I have been through so much negative crap in my life and a bad marriage that my x was doing many things behind my back and I wanted my sons to grow up before I divorced her. There is much to say, I have two boys in Korea serving our country in the army and the other serving time in prison because he thought that he could steal guns to buy a car. When I told him that he had to face the music for what he had done it caused a big break out between my x and I. The next day i told her that we were getting a divorce. I went into a deep depression and spent all of the money I had on drugs and alcohol. two years later i found myself running from myself. I was on the highway in Colorado and Jesus spoke to me and told me to change my ways and he would use to serve his children. I have lived in a homeless shelter for almost two years while going through a very intensive discipleship program and druing that time started serving in a prison minsitry in my local church. I also at the age of have been attending bible college and now am teaching the word to the men at the same homeless shelter that I once was a resident of. I recently started attending the local seminary school and am working on finishing school and I just found out within this last week that the men that run the mission are going to hire me as chaplian and teacher to the men there.

I grew up in a godly churchy family. Around middle school age I started drinking and doing drugs and over time became an atheist. When I was in high school I gave up drugs and decided I would give religion another try so i searched through different religions and instead of a religion I found faith, a best friend, a lord and savior. I gave up all the evil in my life and now I live for the lord. I would probably be dead now if it wasnt for JC. Im glad to say that I have been drug free for three years this august. I love to share my testimony. I hope it helps a lot of people who are in the shoes I once was in. I believe the easiest time to find the lord is in your darkest moment.
God bless
Its more than religion its a relationship

I was brought up in a Church environment but it never seemed to make any sense to me as on one ever took the time to explain the need for salvation etc. For a reason which I can only attribute to the work of the Holy Spirit I started to search for something but didn't really know what it was. I am an Australian and loved to camp out in the bush on a large property outside of my home town. One day I packed the car with my tent billy can etc. and drove from the city up to the country and made my camp site. For some reason I also packed my Bible and one day I walked into my tent and saw it in a corner and picked it up and tried to make sense out of reading it but there was no impact. Through talking to different Christians and with something driving me to find out more about Jesus I eventually became born again. I often think of the account of Nicodemus in John Ch.3 where Jesus talks about people who are born again and how it happens to those people. It was exactly like that for me and I have testified to some that my conversion was exactly as Jesus told Nicodemus. That was 38 years ago so it is worthy of mentioning that my eternal life started 38 years ago and I can never loose it as per Eph.Ch.4 V30

I have always believed in the Lord as my Savior. It has never been in question.
BTW rajjfahneen - that kind of thinking is why there is a war going on. Everyone is entitled to practice and believe their own religion. The USA did NOT commence this war on you and your people. You brought it upon yourselves with your uneducated and assinine beliefs. You brought it upon yourselves by bombing the World Trade Center simply because as Westerners, we hold different beliefs. I'm not talking about your religion, I am speaking on your belief that your religion is the only right one. If you actually believe you will be rewarded for these acts by being given 72 virgins in the afterlife, you are an idiot. If Osama so strongly believes he is right, why isn't he on the front lines? Why has he brainwashed young men into dying for something he isn't willing to risk his own life for? You know why? He knows the crap he feeds these men is all bullsh**.
I don't think ANYONE'S God would approve of killing innocent people.

Awesome to know that there are Christians out there who are giving glory to our Lord Jesus Christ instead of slandering his Holy Name. My testimony? Let me tell you the short version, been through a divorce twice as a child, accepted the Lord at 16, dad divorced again, became the prodigal child for many years, had three children, divorced from abusive husband, remarried a christian this time, and rededicated my life to the Lord. My first stepmother introduced me to Jesus at 16, but wasn't mature in the faith to deal with complications that life had to offer. He never leaves us nor forsakes us, but don't ever leave Him. We are nothing without Him.

I have been very fortunate to have parents who shared Christ with me but also encouraged me to check what they taught me. My testimony simply put, I knew God, searched for the truth and found out that I had really known God all along. I too love to hear peoples testimony. Isn't it awesome that God comes to so many people when something bad happens to them. turning the bad into good.

Hello friend,
Thank you for the opportunity to give Glory to God my Savior!
I could tell you the long version, but Jesus is coming soon and I hate to be interrupted. Just kidding, God has a great sense of humor, and I was trying to be like my Dad.
Jesus got hold of my heart at age 13. I was a Baptist at the time.
I thank God that He can save Baptists, that's what I was when He saved me! But I've since repented and been forgiven for being Baptist.
Now hold on friend, in the words of a great preacher, I've got nothing against Baptists, but I don't brag on them, too many in jail, some out that ought to be in! Amen?
Oh friend, Jesus took a Hell bound sinner out of the clutches of Satan himself whom I formerly served, and made me a new creature in Christ Who's Blood bought me and Who's Power keeps me.
I could go on, and would love to, but I just praise My God Jesus Christ for His unsearchable love and Grace and gift of Salvation.
And for folks like yourself who seek others of like mind and seek to give glory to our God the soon coming King!
Until He Comes,
2 Tim. 2:7

I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html ).
For scientific and intellectual evidence for the existence of God, see http://www.godsci.org/gs/godsci/evidence.htm
Cordially,
John
