If God knew all along that man would turn away from him, and he wishes that none should perish (in hell), then why would he create man in the first place? Wouldn't it have been better for none to go to heaven or hell, than some go to both? please advise.

He did make man but he also gave him free will. All parents will let their children make their own mistakes and hope they learn from them.

Because he's NOT all loving. Or not omnipotent, but we'll go with the first answer because it's easier.

God apparently has certain desires and motivations. If not, he wouldn't do ANYTHING. There wouldn't be anything, except god. I guess god could be affected by the creation of entities randomly, but then you get into evolution and the like as being god's "dreams" or something, so it sort of defeats the purpose.

If god were all loving, we wouldn't go to hell. Period. Things would be happy, things would be nice, things would be as good as possible. Free will would exist, but we also wouldn't do bad, because there's no logical arguement you can make that necessitates people to do bad things for there to be free will. If you were to decide that there was such an arguement, then god could simply make it so that that's not true. And if he can't, he's not omnipotent. So we've come to the conclusion that either god doesn't have our absolute best interests at heart (which is just fine to accept) or that god has restrictions (which would also be fine, though it would create certain other problems with the religion).

I think we need to challenge the traditional concepts of heaven and hell. These ideas weren't really developed until the middle ages. The book "If Grace Is True: Why God Will Save Every Person, is a very good book. The authors state that if Christians truly believe God is a God of grace, we should have a hard time believing God would condemn people to an eternity of punishment or damnation.

"That's an interesting point, and the answer really involves the kind of person God is. Would it be just or loving to condemn a person for something that you yourself planned for him to do?
(1) God is a God of love. (1 John 4:8) All his ways are just. (Psalms 37.28; Deuteronomy 32:4) It was not God's will for Adam to sin; he warned Adam against it. (Genesis 2:17)
(2) God did allow Adam, as he does us, the freedom to choose what he would do. Perfection did not rule out the exercise of free will to disobey. Adam chose to rebel against God, despite the warning that death would result.

Do you really believe that such a loving God would send his people to suffer in a place called hell for all eternity? When we die we are returned to the ground.

Genesis 3:19 "In the sweat of your face you will eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are and to dust you will return."

As for going to heaven, that number is reserved for 144,000 anointed and dedicated Christians (Revelation 14:1-3).

The rest of us will look forward to a Resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous but not up to heaven. It will be right here from our graves on the earth to make it into a paradise which has been God's original purpose all along (Genesis 1:28).

God loves life. He is the giver of life.

He created humans and gave them the ability to choose which path they would follow. When they chose to disobey Him, He still cared enough to send His son to "rescue" them by paying for their disobedience with His own pain and suffering.

He gave them the power of choice because He didn' t want a bunch of mindless robots running around saying, "Yes Master, yes master."

He was willing to risk that man would turn against Him. That should say a great deal about His character. And in case they did He provided a salvation plan to give them a second chance. I think that is incredibly amazing.

You got to see that God had a creation prior to the Human Race, which were Angels. However when Lucifer (Heylel in the Hebrew) fell and took 1/3 of the Angels with him, they were condemned to eternity to the eternal lake of fire. Lucifer then asks God "How can a loving creator cast his creatures into the lake of fire?" So God created the human race, "Lower than Angels" and prove to Satan that even Humans, who have not seen God or talked to God face to face, can Glorify God.

God condemned us from the beginning (After Adam and the woman failed), in order that salvation , eternal security, may apply to all!

To be loved. The reason He made Man was to have someone love Him. Pure and simply company. Of course He had to give us free will in order for the love from us to mean something. So yes sometimes man chooses not to love Him. to put it into a prospective, Why do we choose to love a spouse or have children knowing that they may not always loves us back?

God created man in his image to populate the earth! If Eve had not sinned and then Adam followed her in sin, then no one would have to go to Hell and the world would be perfect!

He didn't choose to forsee the fate of mankind. Our fate has been in our hands from the beginning of time. God did not set its course. The future, as far as we know, is not totally set into stone. God only determines the future when it involves his ultimate purpose of making a perfect earth inhabited by perfect people.
