If they did what they've been accused of, no punishment would be too harsh. Not only did they commit a horrible, unforgivable crime, they abused their authority, they harmed their country, and they harmed the peace they were meant to be building. (I know there is no peace being built in Iraq, but that's not the point.) They betrayed their country by giving the "enemy" more ammunition. And they are total idiots, so what is their purpose in living anyway?

Well I will hold my judgment for if they are guilty for after the trail. But if they did do it, then I think that they should be executed. I do not say this lightly. If in fact they have committed this crime, it is more then a black eye on their families. They have dishonored the Military for which I served and loved, and have have dishonored the U.S., which I also love dearly. So to me the only answer is to show that Americans do not support this kind of action by executing them. While it may not bring the people killed back, it will send a message, that we are not going to tolerate this kind of behavior.

I am glad to see that you have tried and convicted them before trial or anyone has even seen the evidence.
If they are guilty they need to receive the death penalty but I thought peacenik freaks are against that. I am sure you would make an exception for Sailors, Soldiers, Marines, Airmen and Coasties.

outraged? yes. surprised? no. this war has become exactly like vietnam. soldiers are improperly trained, they don't know the landscape, they don't speak the language, they can't tell friend from enemy. then they see the cia and other superiors committing similar acts so they think that is the proper way to behave because no one has told them otherwise. there are kids in this war who have never been outside the u.s., never been trained in real combat, never been trained in guerilla warfare, and never been trained to understand the customs of the country they are in. these atrocities are tragic but totally avoidable and predictable.

If it's true, then yes I think its horrible. People will start thinking that all soldiers are like that and its not fair to all the good soldiers out there.

I say she, and her family probably deserved it, anyways we should evacuate all the Americans and bomb the whole place. Hey just think about it, if the war were here, and there were iraqi soldiers here they would have done the same thing.
