Sunscreen! Toys for both. Maybe go to the beach if you live near it or to a park with a playground. Take a picnic!!

Sun screen, water, food (not alot, or at least not food that can rot), snacks, diapers, formula, or breast milk, or whole milk, spare clothing(for all of you), hand sanitizer and tissues, a stroller, baby wipes, and love. :-)
You should take your babies to the park. You can sit, and relax under a tree, and have a small picnic.
I would suggest a zoo, but your children are bit too young. They might get scared, and it will be too hard to take care of them. Zoos are very big, and you have to walk around alot. You shouldn't walk TOO much in the sun, and you shouldn't go to such a huge and crowded place with such itty bitty children.
Good luck, and have fun.

I am expecting my 2nd baby in Dec and I found a backpack so I can have my hands free. Keep an extra change of clothes in a seperate bag in the trunk of the car..and a extra change for you too (my almost 2 year-old son loves to put his dirty hands on my shirt), a small sandwhich bag filled with anti-bacterial wipes (or one of the trial size foil packs) in the diaper bag, diapers (keep extras in the bag with the extra clothes so you have room for both sizes for your kids), extra shoes in the car, toys. I keep a bag on the back of the front seat so my son can get toys out of it during a long drive. Kids love going to the park, mall (if they have a play area and it is usually air-conditioned), zoo. Don't forget to pack snacks, and have a couple of bags with ice packs (Gel) for bottles, water and juice to keep hydrated.

Wow you're brave! From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.! To the zoo, to the park, to a children's discovery museum, the library. I would take snacks, drinks, toys, changes of clothes, diapers, wipes, sunblock, and a stroller.

that is too long your kids will want a break and a nap. but if you are going you will need food drinks extra clothing, a couple of blankets some toys a treat or two, a stroller , money, sunscreen if you are outside and those are just of what you need. take them to a park, or the zoo.

I would take them to chuck e cheeses or something of the same sort. I would just bring snacks and juice boxes for the car ride. And maybe some diapers and wipes. Just be prepared, it won't hurt to be over prepared.

well you didn't tell us what area you lived in so that makes a diff.
However a park....would be good
take bottles, formula, bottled water(freeze a couple bottles to thaw during the day )...snacks, juices, something for lunch...sun block....toys of their own for the baby not much for him to do at a park....blanket to sit on....stroller...
9 hours is a LONG time anywhere for kids that young...where are they going to nap??
best of luck to you!
