Aren't they the ones that consider it a blessing to have the birds 'redistribute' their dead back over the community?

Zorastrians honor vultures as a God, to be eaten while alive would be an omen, to be eaten while dead would be just like getting to shake hands with God or Buddha ect...

some think that it is due to the belief of:
the body and the soul.
the soul is divided into bodies and if u bury ur body then a part of ur soul will be wondering around until the body is disintegrated.
so if u feed ur dead body to vultures then the body is going to "dissapear" faster and the " a part of the soul" is not going to wonder. insead is going to accept that the body is dead , and it would not try to navigate around the body cause there is none.
also another way to do this is by insinerating
