I guess that depends on your dad.
Does he have a pitchfork in the garage? Uh huh.
Does the Bible catch on fire when he walks by it? I see.
Did you ever step on his tail? Well, I'll be damned.
Yup, you're a child of God, like everyone else.

You will know children of God by the fruits they bear. Which means, if you are truly a child of God, you'll have a real desire to follow his will. If you don't ever want to become more like christ, then chances are you're not a true believer. I wouldn't necessarily call non-believers followers of satan though, they just haven't accepted the truth yet.

I am a believer in the Divine and hold true to the fact that all creation has come to form based on the likeness and to the pleasure of God. I do believe that inherent evil exists and for that evil to show its side in our world is based on the exercising of free will of man; the choice to do either good or bad.
You want to remain a child of god? You do good
You want to be a child of Satan (inherent evil)? You do evil (or anything that opposes the right)

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of God plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Do you love your neighbor? Do you follow the Commandments? Do you love God with all your heart and soul? Do you try to do good always? Have you turned from sin? If you answered these questions YES, then you are a child of God's. But if you answered them NO, then I guess you qould be a follower of Satan's

You are a child of God if you are saved and/or if you believe in God. Satan has no known children only followers and fellow demons

Everyone is born a child or god and god will always take them into him. Satan does not make people. He takes their souls after they are already created by god. We have free will and can be taken away from god. We can go back to god at anytime as we are allways his child and he will forgive us.
