My hair is that ugly wavy, kinda frizzy type. I bought a straightner, and I use that, but it usually takes me an hour and a half to get it good, but there's still waves in it in the back. My question is: What is the easiest and fastest way to get my hair straighter??
I bought the Frizz-Ease stuff. I have steps 1, 2, and 4, and that kinda works but not good enough.
Give me your secrets, tips, and hints, and if it's good enough, you'll get 10 points!!

It's not quick, easy, or cheap. I have curly hair and I had a thermal straightening done. It's lasted 6 months. Now, I blow dry with a paddle brush that I got from Aveda and I just run the flat iron over my hair. The other think that you might want to consider is really doing a deep conditioning. The heavier the better. It helps pull the curl out. Good luck!

Ok, ready for this - Chi Hair Iron as stated in other answers plus Vo5 Miracle spray (protects the hair from heat) and an oil (frizzease or any kind of oil that helps with frizz). Make sure you separate your hair well, if you rush, the roots will remain curly and it won't look right. Separate the hair, spray with Miracle from Vo5 and put a drop or two of oil on the hair and straighten with the Chi. Best combo I've ever tried. I have verrrrrry dry brittle frizzy curly thick hair. Everytime I go to the salon, the hairdressers are amazed about how much hair i have and how hard it is to handle. This method is the fastest and easiest way for me. Good Luck Hun!

positioned some straightening moouse on your hair after that is washed and "wrap" it aroung your head, like your head is one massive roller and spritz it then conceal it with a information superhighway to stay in position at the same time as drying lower than a dryer. once dry, use a flat iron and area each and each and every area out for straightening. once styled a uncomplicated retaining spray keeps it from frizzing. wish this helps. Wrap it back at evening w/ a silk headband for sound asleep and get in touch with up in the am.

CHI IRON!!!!
I would be lost without mine. It's about $120 but worth it. The ceramic plates are great on your hair...of course you should use a heat protectant on your hair when you apply heat to your hair.
Also, you might have really bad split ends...I'd suggest a trip to the beauty salon for a good hair cut and have your beautician assess the problems you are having with your hair...she might be able to direct you to great products to use.

uh... well i dont have curly hair... and it sounds like your hair is thick, which is why you miss the back and it takes so long. maybe try more/heavier conditioner (and leave it in some)... and i have a product from V05 that is called "straight hair" that you put on while wet and blow dry (with a big heating brush) then straighten with the iron. it seems to work well and is supposed to protect you hair from the heat.
hope it works...

I chemically straighten mine and that takes out all the frizz. I normally have curly hair. Also I wash and condition my hair in cold water as cold as you can handle it makes my hair silkier
