You might want to check your company bylaws to see if it is okay to date in the workplace, but remember dating in the workplace isn't reconmended because you'll always see eachother even when your fighting.
But anyways if you want to get to know the guy at work just talk to him one day when you are working the same shift. Talk to him like you would talk to your other coworkers, but focus most of your attention on him. Your aim is to get to know him better by talking to him. Ask him "who, what, when, where, why, and how" questions to get conversation flowing, and always smile and make good eye contact. Flirt with him, play with your hair, and try touch him often. If things work out exchnage phone numbers amd work it from there.
