Less crime? Let me remind you:over 90% of your criminals are blacks-and all of them are LEGAL.
Less traffic? Which illelag has a car? Very few. So you make no point.
More consumers= more goods=more jobs...
Just give everyone an ID, make everyone pay taxes, give them papers, treat them like humans!

Well here we go again. As someone has already said the key word here is illegal. If they were legal immigrants they would be living within the limits of the laws of this country and also receive the benefits of that. My wife is from the Philippines and she wishes to come here and become an American. We will raise our family here. We choose to do it the legal way, and the moral way. It not only prevents abuse and crime, it makes us a stronger country, even if it does take longer than it took me to join the Army and fill out a stack of forms as tall as me when the forms for immigration are only a couple inches thick. I may not like the red tape, but the rewards are worth the trouble and so much more.
One more thing, WAY TO GO MACDYVER!!! That's the type of America I want too, not a bunch of bigots. I may not be the same ethnicity as yourself, or my wife, but that was one reason I served in the military. To make this country better both inside and out. I don't like what is going on in our government and next election i plan to help oust a few incumbents!

America would be better without a lot of things. While I do think we should beef up security around the borders, the people who got here and have started a life should be given a shot.
The one and only thing I would require for citizenship is that they learn the English language. I don't even care if it's broken. I could not move to Italy and expect to live there for the rest of my life speaking English.
I don't understand how people can move to America at 20 years old, and die here without ever learning the language.

would america be better if you had to pay $12 for a head of lettuce because you had to pay for the union labor that picked it? or if your house cost $500,000 instead of $300,000 because you had to pay for the union labor that built it?
illegals have jobs in this country because americans won't take them. don't try to kid yourself or anyone else otherwise. if americans were willing to clean toilets, wash dishes, pick fruits and vegetables, or dig ditches there would be no immigration problem. no available jobs=no illegal immigrants. very simple equation.
illegals don't drive down wages, employers do. immigrants can't negotiate wages because they're not citizens and can't organize for fear of deportation. so they take what they can get because it's better than what's back home. and employers exploit them for that very same reason.
it's easy to blame illegals for all america's problems because they won't fight back because they just want to keep their job. the problem is with the employers who hire them and pay them criminally low wages. go after the employers and and get americans to take those jobs and you'll fix your immigration 'problem'.
but since that will never happen just deal with the fact that these immigrants are only here to make a better life for themselves. yes, some of them are a leech off the economy making the rest look bad. but you can't condemn an entire people for the mistakes of a few.
in closing just remember this fact. illegal immigrants are a $4 billion drain on the economy. but what no one mentions is that they contribute $12 billion to the economy. not a bad trade off for a bunch of moochers.

And fewer uneducated bigots.
They come seeking a better life for their families Mankind has done that since time imemorial.
Take out your anger on business which hires illegals so they won't have to pay decent wages.
And politicians who wont close our borders, or enforce wage laws, or hiring and background check practices which Americans must complete before they get a job.
I bet the Native Americans wished that they had let the immigrants who washed up on their shores in the winter starve and freeze to death!
Narrow minded bigots give me indigestion.

America would be better without any and all ILLEGAL immigrants, period. Don't just limit the number to 5 million because there's supposedly more than that here.

Here is what would happen:
•Thousands of jobs will become available that Americans can and will do.
•Billions in Taxpayer dollars will be saved.
•There will be an immediate drop in crime of all kinds
•Schools will improve with their ability to focus on teaching instead mollycoddling students that don’t have adequate English language skills.
•Thousand of legitimate immigrant workers will have room to enter the US workforce where they benefit the US economy.
•Wage in jobs that had been held down by the wage regression created as a result of an illegal workforce will rise until it is competitive with the labor market.
•The creation of a permanent “American underclass” and the human suffering that accompanies it will have been avoided.
•The gross national product and tax receipts of the US will rise as wages are kept in the US rather than being sent to Mexico.
•Hospitals, law enforcement and prisons will be relieved of the costs imposed by illegal immigration.

Why are you saying 5 million? There are 12 to 20 million. You must be looking at very old numbers.

I agree 100%.
We would be a smarter and more evolved people without them. We would have less crime. We would have cleaner and safer streets and cities. We would have better health. We would have better paying jobs and better health benefits and housing and shopping and communities.
We would be a better nation IF WE JUST DID IT RIGHT.
