I had to think about that one for a while. If I lost my child, I probably would get a tattoo in his memory. His favorite thing is dragons and that's what I've got already and plan on getting in the future. It wouldn't be that hard to create a tat that would mean something to both of us.

yes with out a doubt!! my children are the most important thing in my life!!!! it would be a way to have them with me forever!! my brother-in-law and sister-in-law just lost thier 18 month old son in may. and they both had tattoos done in memory of him!! he was an angel to all that know him!! and even if it was not your child it is still ok! becase it was someone that meant alot to you! i would ask the childs parents first and get thier ok!!!!

Of course! Tats are very personal to the wearer..and losing a child is a heartbreaking occurrence. In a situation as such, it would seem to me that the lost child is still with you in thought and in graphics...Having a tat done would be in honour and remembrance

My deepest sympathy to you! A child is such a precious part of your life, and if you would be comfortable to have a tattoo - why not? Grief is such a personal thing, and if this would bring you some comfort, I wouldn't let anyone interfere. May God give you peace.

I'm sorry about your loss. But I wouldn't get a tattoo for anything or anyone. There are other ways of remembering. It doesn't have to be permanent damage to your body.

I don't have any tattoos, because I don't have anything that I would want permanently on my skin. However, if there ever would be something that I would want, that would be it. I would probably do it. Inshallah, I will never have to.
