Please get it into your thick indented skull that it wasnt the muslims that started the conflicts, in fact this whole recent conflict started when israelis deliberately fired a rocket and murdered a young girls family who were having a picnic on the sea side. When accused they blamed hamas saying it was thier rocket but tests confirmed it was israeli. In response hamas kidnapped an israeli soldier and demanded civillians who had been imprisoned for no reason to be given back (as the israelis broke the cease fire). Then israel decided to attack innocent civillians by destroying power supplies, water supplies, aid etc. The palestinians were in trouble and so the lebanese militia nearby had to divert some attention which is what the israelis had in mind for thier evil sinister plan (destruction of lebanon which was doing well). This conflict was secretly planned whilst muslims foolishly thought there could be some peace atleast.

The "self-defense" term used in this conflict is just words used to appeal to the public opinion around the world. When you self defend yourself, you know who you target is, it's standing right in front of you. And at no point Hezbollah is a threat to the existence of the state of Israel. In the past two weeks, there were many people killed, mostly on the Lebanese side, just because they were caught in between. So saying that Israel is defending itself, is a little self-righteous, because it means that Hezbollah is strong enough to eliminate the state of Israel, which I'm sure that in their wildest dream they are, but they are not. Hezbollah is a pain in the butt. a huge, sour, annoying pain, but nothing more. Does it justify the death of the people, no. It doesn't. Nothing really does. In a perfect world, everyone would have lived happily every after, in a slightly less perfect world, only the bad people would get hurt/die/go to hell/sufer unbelieveable pain. In our day and time, people get killed for far less then ideology, the get killed because they were in the wrong place, at the wrong time.

However, For everyone who thinks Israel is the bad guy in this story, need to get his/her opinion straight. The facts are very simple:
1. Hezbollah is a terrorist organization - Do you see anyone saying we should stop fighting Al-Quida, Serial Killers, Murders, and other such criminals? No. And if you do, do you think they are right?
2. They kidnapped 2 Israeli soldiers, without being provoked, by invading Israel, and kidnapping these people. Next time your brother, father, best friend gets kidnapped by Hezbollah you can choose the way you seem best for you to respond.
3. Statistically/Historically speaking, I can't really tell when was the last time a Jewish person crashed into the world trade center, exploded in a bus full of children, Ran into an office and started shooting women, send Anthrax to people around the world, and generally creating allot of death and destruction, to people who really have nothing to do with what ever going in the insane mind of those maniacs.
4. And the bottom line is that everyone forgot about the Atom Bomb that Iran is building, during this whole flare in the Mideast. So I guess, after all, people dying has it's advantages.

Yeah, people are dying, it's sad, it's painful, and it's not fair. But get the numbers straight. Israel is a country of about 7 million people, on a good day, when the sun is out, and no one is killing each other because of the cost of living, taxes, heat, and some other things the crazy people complain about, but that 7 million is nothing compare to the 200 million people in neighboring Muslim countries (Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Iran, Iraq), who wouldn't miss a heart beat if Israel goes poof all of the sudden, among with many other people who would share the same thought about Israel. If you choose to think Israel is the bad guy in this fiasco, that's your poragetive, But I sure bet that the next time something explodes next to you, you wouldn't think it's an Israeli, now, would you? (But i'm sure you'll find out at least one person to claim it's because of them Israelis after all)

It's not that.

It's that Israel is killing civilians right now, and as unfair as that is when their civilians are murdered, it's attacking a country that didn't murder the civilians, only the terrorists in the country.

I think that there are a lot of extreme feelings about this, its really too bad. I don't agree with what Israel's doing. I think they should be allowed to defend themselves against terrorists and work to fight them, but not civilians in another country. That's ridiculous.

Israel is the most successful terrorist state of modern times.Before 1948 there was no modern State of Israel . It was created by illegal immigrants from Europe after WW2 supported by the US against the British administration of Palestine.
These immigrants formed murder gangs and drove out the British then they grabbed the land from the christian and muslim arabs who had lived there for centuries, killing any who resisted.
The arabs are trying to reclaim what was stolen.

Israel is a government, with a uniformed army. Hezbola is a bunch of civilian terrorists. Just b/c Hezbola targets civilians, that doesn't give Israel the right to do the same. Shooting rockets at cars with unknown occupants, who are evacuating a city that Israel told to evacuate, makes Israel no different than Hezbola.

The current situation with Israel defending itself, it ISN'T even defending itself.

For one Israeli deatch aprox. 12 Lebanese are killed, how is that self-defense? It sounds like a reason for genocide, especially when you use chemical weapons which are prohibited.

Israel is doing what the Nazis did to them but to the Arabs and the Muslims when they should be doing it to the Europeans, but the Europeans sleep in bed with them so its okay..

Should Israel must defend itself from iteself? By all logic they apply to Arabs Israel is a terrorist country. So what should it do cease to exist? Transform into a secular country by abolishing zionism? Ban ideas of Jewish superiority? How will it decondition its population from hate and insecurity that the country is built upon?

Because Israel is killing people of Lebanon, not terrorists. For your information, Pastor, Lebanon is religiously mixed country, about 40% of population is Christian and Israel is bombarding Christian neighborhoods in Lebanon as well. Plus I don't understand how can child be a terrorist. Just small minority of people in Lebanon supports Hezbollah, and there is actually quite a few people in Israel who disapprove of Israel actions in Lebanon.

because if you strip away the label 'terrorist' you see that the israelis have killed hundreds of people in the last few weeks, mostly children. this is not self-defense. this is mass murder. this is terrorism.
