Yes... they gave us the symbols that we use in our numbering system (1,2,3...etc.). After they conquered Spain, they made available the writings of antiquity, which they had preserved when Christianity was busily destroying everything that wasn't canonical... mathematics... logic... philosophy... astronomy... engineering... literature... etc. Their translation into Latin, and dissemination throughout Europe sparked the Renaissance, and helped overturn the centuries of ignorance that was the legacy of Christianity.

If you seriously want an answer (but I suspect you don't), I'd be happy to share a good bit of info on the Muslim Golden Age, which occurred long before the Renaissance and the Scientific Revolution in Europe.
Here's one thing: hospitals. Muslims developed hospitals where medicine was practiced, pharmaceuticals were developed, and students learned to become doctors through observation long before there were hospitals in the West.

There are many Muslim scholars who were and highly regarded in the West. One that I have studied the most is Ibn Rushd, known as Averroes in the West. He was an authority on Aristotle and wrote a definitive medical text that was used throughout the world.

Algebra also comes from Islam. Developed by al-Kwarizmi.

Hmmm lets see
algebra
the protestant reformation...yes it came from muslims because they kept the original greek bibles and translated them into arabic so they could be retranslated into latin. Erasmus used bibles that came from muslims to do his translations. Martin Luther used Erasmus to translate his bible into German
Aristotle..again the muslims had the text that the Catholic church had long burned. At the time plato wasthe king of philosophy.
all the roots of scientific and mathematical thought
Basically the western world was a bunch of idiots busy debating theology when some people got smart and started learning from the muslims in spain.

This is just uncalled for. Why do you think that all this hate is being perpetuated. It's racists like you that are uneducated and make sweeping generalizations about certain groups.
Let's start with mathematics. "Pythagoras learned his theories from the muslim people. They also gave us optics...such as telescopes etc. The original bankers....Why not try cracking open a book. You know. those things with lots of paper and words on them.

seem, If Muslims sucssed in spreading terror they're going to scream verses from Quran justifing their moves. once they're on the receiving end ,all the peace makers(who're silent till eventually then) will come out of the timber works caliming how Islam has been misunderstood by technique of the propegenda of Non Mulims! they have performed this sport by out history and could proceed to finish that.

They were responsible for the European Renaissance. When Christians went berserk and destroyed all books and brought about the dark ages, the Arabs kept libraries of the ancient learning. Later on, they brought that knowledge forth again. We'd probably still be lobbing spears at each other of not for them.
