Okay people...I am LDS (Latter Day Saint, Mormon) and we are not decieved. We are Christian with the same God and the same Jesus as all other Christians. We have the Bible and we have another book too.

I am happy to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, aka Mormon. I love Jesus Christ and know that it is only through him and his ulitmate sacrifice that I can return to live with him and Heavenly Father. I'm grateful for the Gospel in my life and how it has lead me.

They use a bad translation of the bible. And another suspicious tome. That does not make them bad, however.

No, you are not, the same as other christian, you have 3 gods. Which is silly, the Jewish people would not have even considered it, and a bad translation is used to defend it. When you open to John 1:1 and it says "a god" or "the divine" in that statement, that is a very bad, devievieving translation. You should not use it to decieve others.

I like Mormons :)

Having said that...

Mormonism is a religion (which is very different from Biblical Christianity).

And it is relevant to note that the LDS God is not the God of the Bible... and the LDS Jesus is not the Jesus of the Bible.

No offense meant to anyone.

Cordially,
John

What I appreciate about Mormons is that they stand up for family values and have morals in a world where most people are too cowardice to do so. I've known mormons who are more good that most Christians I know. But they have very many misguided beliefs.

I dislike virtually any form of evangelism, but not horribly. Also, they kind of have the band nerd image going on; it makes the big people want to beat them up. Course, I'm a role-playing nerd, so I don't feel that way, but still: doesn't it just seem socially weird for guys in fancy clothes riding bikes and whatnot?

They don't believe that you can receive God's free gift of eternal salvation by confession through heart faith in Jesus Christ atonement & resurrection alone.

Joseph Smith is a false prophet.

Too many are too busy doing all they can do & are too proud to receive God's salvation. Sadly that could mean hell.

I don't know any of them personally, so can not form an opionion on any of them. The only problem that I personally have is when they wont take "no, I am not interested" for an answer. I have had to call the police on them before, because they wouldn't leave my porch.

That they are agents from USA, who are sent to South American countries to search information about the way we live, the languages we speak, political issues and that stuff...then, this people send reports so as to have more knowledge of what we do! And they get women pregnant so as to have more spanish people living in the USA...and that's nuts! believe me!
