Worry is a very destructive emotion, and it accomplishes nothing except to make the worrier upset. It is said that most of the things a person worries about never happens anyway.
You sound like a lady who cares a great deal about her family, and this is an admirable trait. I know it's hard for you to do, but try to look on the bright side and be more optimistic. Maybe you need to talk to a counselor, or someone you trust, like a minister or priest. I'm not a religious fanatic by far, but when I'm troubled, I turn to God. Sometimes prayer can accomplish miracles. Your fears are based on things that could happen, and in today's world, it's always a possibility. But dwelling on them is not helping anyone, least of all yourself. So before you get anymore obsessed, seek professional help. Life is too short to spend it by worrying about things that in all probability will never happen. Good luck to you. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Here's an advice:
80% of things you worry over, does not come true. As for the remaining 20%, you can't do anything about it.
Just treasure NOW, and do what you think is right NOW. Worrying does not help.
So, why worry?

Are things happening to them or are you just thinking and anticipating that something will happen to them? I would get some good therapy before you drive yourself crazy. Get this in perspective. You can't control everything that happens in the lives of your loved ones.

Yoga is the best tool to help calm your universe. it puts life in perspective.(a little faith in the creator doesn't hurt either) those two things changed my life. don't say it's too hard either. I do it and i weigh @425lbs. it's not pretty, but it's effective. each man at his own pace, that's the way the universe works.

I can only answer from my own experience. If you have a Christian faith, just trust God with them. For example, when your child leaves the house to go to school, you might say: "Lord, I can't see them, but I know you can. It is your turn to watch them". Trust that HE will and then, your anxiety will definitely become less and less.

Go in to your doctor. Explain to him that you are having constant worrying, and it is affecting your life. Generalized anxiety disorder can be treated, and you can get your life back. Go in and talk to him about your anxiety... so that you can continue enjoying your kiddles.
