You want easy and tasty? Buy some beer, pour a couple into a pot...toss in a bay leaf, some pepper, maybe some garlic...bring it to a boil and toss the shrimp in that. They'll only need to cook for a few minutes. It's divine!

try this, it's excellent:

Melt a couple tablespoons of butter ina skillet, lay the shrimp out flat and sprinkle them w/Old Bay. Cook them for a minute or on med. heat, turn them over sprinkle them again and cook taht side for a minute or two. Whole time is about 5 minutes. They'll turn white when cooking, and they'll white real quick-that means they're done.

Damn, gotta go make some for myself now....................

i will give you an easiest receipe for sauted shrimps, which you can vey well make with good results, no complications.
if you buy frozen shrimps, thaw them first to room temperature, wash and clean, drain water after washing, take them in a plate, and marinate with salt, turmeric powder, half tea spoon, red chilli powder 1 tea spon, and fresh lime juice 1 table spoon. keep aside.
chop 1 large onion, make some ginger and garlc paste, tomato puree, prportionately, as you dont want curried shrimps.
in a wok, saute onion in hot oil, when turned brown, add the pastes, puree, in that order, stir.
sprinkle some cumin seeds powder, stir.
add shrimps, and turn them nicely in all that masala, they will curl, and start becoming stiff.
cook in their own juices, without a lid, for 10 minutes, serve hot with chpped coriander, with bread or rotis, a side-dish of a leafy vegetable, or cabbage chopped fine, spring onions, will go well with it.
you can also make some mint chutney, by blending in the mixer, mint leaves, green chillies, coriander, garlic buds, and ginger. it helps to add a distinct flavor to the shrimp dish, as well as in digesting them, without acidity.
do not forget to remove the green thread at the back of each shrimp, while cleaning them. you caneasily do it, with a small knife.
