Nobody goes str8 to heaven at first. You go to the spirit world where you stay with loved ones. When the second Coming Happens (Judgement Day) at that time you will be reunited with your physical body and then you will be placed accordingly to you works. The only way NOT to go to heaven is to denounce the Holy Ghost. Then you are just taking out of exsistance. When you get to Heaven you will continue to learn and become perfect like Christ. It is called Eternal Progression. Otherwise there is no purpose. We must constantly learn and become like Him. The only difference it that when you are in Heaven you are aware of your Whole previous life before birth and everything thereafter. You are judged on your actions here. And that will determine the next step after Judgement Day. And Yes MORMONS are Christians. To Make a quick reference about the book of Mormon. We Believe that the Bible is the family history of Juda and the Book of Mormon is the family history of Joesph (the one sold by his brothers) The 10 lost tribe will be reunited before the second coming. so there will be more to come. But we are very close.

Getting to heaven isn't about being a good anything. It's about believing that Jesus died on the cross to pay the debt for your sins.
Jesus wasn't a Christian, Jesus was a Jew. Christian means "little Christ"
Jesus went to Hell to pay the price for sin. He went to Hell not because he had to, rather because he wanted to.

Before Jesus died, there was truly no Heaven. He went back to take the good souls out of Hell before they went to the newly-created Heaven.

Hah! Got you! I said that earlier, hoping someone would fall for it. Jesus went to Hell to beat the cr*p out of Satan and take control of the keys to Hell. He now has posession to the gate keys for BOTH Heaven AND Hell.
Oh, and since Jesus IS the Christ, He cannot be a Christian, which means FOLLOWER of Christ.

As defined in the Bible, hell is the grave. False religious leaders teach a burning firey torment in order to manipulate their followers. Good Christians go to the grave until the resurrection just like Jesus did.

First of all, I'm not a good Christian, so I won't be going to heaven. But hypothetically speaking, I don't think I'd go straight to heaven, you have to make a pit stop in Dayton, Ohio first.

Jesus is God's son, he would never have went to hell. He went through a living hell on Earth before he died on the cross.
there is no such thing as going as going to hell before you go to heaven.

No, we'll stop at the 7-11 for a smoothie on the way first...
He had things still to accomplish after He died. That's why He went there first... We may wind up in a souls waiting room 1st, I dunno... we'll see...
By the way, Jesus was as human as the rest of us and also God in the flesh... The only thing he lacked that we have is the sin nature we've inherited from Adam. Jesus is the 2nd Adam. His death brought us life.

As a good Christian when you die will you go straight to Heaven?
As for good Christians, I think that "good" would be more important to God than "Christian". Good Jews, good Muslims, good Hindus, etc. will all go to Heaven.
