I would appreciate not hearing from those who don't believe....we get it already, thank you.
Where in the bible does it state that when you die you don't become an angel because God has made angels to be angels? Therefore when we die, we don't become one.
Please, again, only serious answers by believers....

This is something I have heard, I am not insinuating in any way that I believe this or not...I am simply asking for opinions to this statement. I am not going to a church right now, I have before but we moved. I have believed in God most of my life, and have seen him move in my life and others around me. I admit, sadly, that I don't read the bible as often as I should and am not sure where to look. Thank you for those of you who understand......

Let's do a little Bible study. Ready?
It is really a great message. I've been adopted once in my life. This is a greater adoption, we are adopted as heirs:
Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Christ is above the angels as made clear in Hebrews 1.
We also are sons by adoption as made clear in Galatians 4:5.
Heirs and gathered unto God by the one worthy who paid the price:
Ephesians 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
And placed us in a heavenly place as his body:
Ephesians 1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
It is the angels that are ministering spirits to those that believe:
Hebrews 1:13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
So his angels are not heirs to that throne, the inheritance is to men that overcome:
Revelation 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
I hope that answered your question.

Matthew 5:5 says the meek will inherit the earth.
Psalm 37:29 says the righteous will possess the earth (land-in some translations but there is no land in heaven)
Psalm 115:16 says the earth has been given to men
Habakkuk 2:14 says the earth will be filled with the knowledge of God
In Matthew 6:10 Jesus prayed for God's will to be done on earth and taught all of us that it was an appropriate thing to pray for--Jesus was perfect and we know that he was in harmony with God, so it stands to reason that God will answer this prayer.
Isaiah 45:18 says the earth was created to be inhabited.
Ecclesiastes 1:4 says the earth will stand to time indefinate
Isaiah 65:21-25 tells lots of details about the earth after God's Kingdom comes to it
Then, there are also scriptures that tell that the dead are unconscious until the resurrection and that those who take part in the first resurrection will be part of the government (God's Kingdom) that will rule over the earth (there must be someone to rule over). E-mail me if you want more details.

An angel is a messenger and a servant of God. It is possible that he would have worthy individuals to act as such. I can't find a scripture that categorically say we do become angels, probably because it is understood.
When describing Jesus Paul says:
Heb. 1: 4-7, 13
4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
Clearly the position Jesus holds is to be an heir and not to be an angel. So since elsewhere Paul says we are co-heirs with Christ, we may have similar blessings.
Another role for that sets angels and men apart is at the resurrection:
Matt. 13: 39, 41, 49
39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
• • •
41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
• • •
49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,

Hello friend,
No where in God's Book does it say or even hint that we will become an angel. What it does say about your question is found in 1 John 3:2 and 1 Cor. 15:49. Read both, it'll do you good.
Stick with what God says and you're on a sure Foundation.
Blessings,
2 Tim. 2 :7

Angels were created by God but God didn't breath his spirit in to them nor make them in his image (see Genesis). Angels are male. If you look at any reference in the Greek or Hebrew angel is always in the masculine form as are the words for God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
Man was created lower than the angels (Ps. 8:4-5) yet man will judge the angels (1 Cor. 6:2-3).So if we are angels how can we judge ourselves. The saints will also judge the world Heb. 2 For unto the angels was it not given to be in charge of the world. Those who follow Christ will rule with Him.
Heb. 1: 13-14 To which of the angel did God say sit on my right hand until I make your enemies your foot stool. Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation (chrisitans).

Actually i do think you got it wrong>>>
matthew 22:24 Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
22:25 Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:
22:26 Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.
22:27 And last of all the woman died also.
22:28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
22:31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,
So if you get into heven You become Angels!! Stated plainly!!

The Christian bible makes no claims to wether or not we will become angels but those who believe and grow and mature in the faith become saints and hiers of Jesus Christ our Lord.
Added Info,
I see that someone else is trying to interpret scripture here, this is a misinterpretation of the scriptures and not what the verses say. I would hope that you can ask your own pastor, but misinterpreting scripture is what causes much confusion.
Peace and God Bless

Why do you presume that nonbelievers are unfamiliar with the Bible?
The Bible never says that we don't become angels, but neither does it imply that we do. The Bible says very little at all about angels. The concepts Christians have regarding angels come from extraBiblical sources, such as the books of Enoch.

1 Cor. 6:3
Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
Rev. 21:3
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
Nootice the tabernacle of God is with MEN, no mention of angels.
Angels are worshippers and messengers of God. Once time is gone and eternity reigns, there will be no need of angels as messengers.
The first Scripture details that we are being trained to judge angels, not those already in heaven but to pass judgment accordingly for those who have disobeyed and followed satan.
Matthew 22:30 comes close to what you are saying, though. The KJV says we will be AS angels, but referring to marriage as stated to the verses earlier in Matthew. It doesn't say we will be transformed as angels. The Bible gives them totally different appearances that mankind,

I don't know whether or not we become angels when we die but I believe we may share similar attributes.
Matthew 22:30
At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.
