My son who was 12 last year took the ACTs thru the Duke University 7th grade talent search. The night before the test he had a headache. The morning of the test he complained of stomach pains. Afterwards he made comments that he was worried about getting into a good college if his score was not high enough. We tried to explain to him that this was just a mock test but he was wreck until he got his results. He has never stressed over the CAT tests at all but this time he put alot of pressure on himself. I feel the testing is good so students can see where they are at verse others as long as they do not base their whole academic career on that one score.
