Wow. This was kind of confusing, so don't stone me if I mess this answer up because I dont' exactly understand. Haha..Umm..so. Yes, I think it is a possibility that people are more open to showing how they truly feel when they are drunk. They are not thinking straight due to extreme levels of alcohol. So yeah, it could be. Or they could just make things up while in a drunken stupor and make fools of themselves. I think both ways, drunkeness can lead to humilation. Well, it sounds like your girlfriend is not ready for such a long term commitment. If she reallly DOES NOT want to talk to you, you can try to force her, or try to push your way back into her life, but she may just run away from that. If you are truly commited to being with her, why don't you just wait for her a while. She's getting drunk, she's hurt, and she's probably confused because you said you liked her soo much, and now you're leaving her. She might even feel a bit abandoned. Tell her that you still care about her and want things to work out, then back off a bit. If she's really worth the wait, give her time. If not, move on. It really is your call. And in the end, you're going to do what you want to ...Good luck!! I hope everything works out!!

I have always said that when a person gets drunk and say thing they normally wouldn;t or have never said while sober, thats they're true feelings.
I also think it's a excuse if they try to say the next day " I don't remember saying or doing that" or I was drunk so U know I didn't mean whatever I said or done"
To me it's they're true feelings coming out.
I knew a girl who would say before we would go out with other friends " If I say or do something crazy or rude after I had one too many I'm sorry already"
This bugged me because she knew pre ahead that she was likely to say or do something" I told her if she knows this about herself then she shouldn't drink.
So YES, YES AND HELL YES it's the true feeling coming out,
and they hide behind being drunk

Yes alot of people do show their real feelings when they are drunk,l know that l am one of them. It sounds like she has been really hurt. If you love her, give her a little more time to think things over for herself. But at the same time, how long are you willing to wait 2 months, 1 year, 2 years. She knows where to find you, but l hope in her case that she dosen't leave it to late, because it seems to me that your an o.k guy. Hope everything works out 4 you

I have a rule not to have a serious talk with anyone who is drunk. They may not remember correctly what anyone said. Drunk conversation is often confused conversation.. She may be ambivalent. I can't imagine talking to a drunk person for three hours. You said that you forgave, but she hasn't. She may not be able to forgive at this point. Maybe she doesn't trust you. Give her space, if it was meant to be, it will.

Not really; however, they can become less inhibited and reveal feelings that they may be embarrassed to reveal when sober. Howevever, if a person is too drunk they may say or do things that are totally uncharacteristic of there true nature.

When I'm drunk, I think of ways of getting rich and why am I not doing this or that. then a few days of being sober those thoughts seem to disappear again.

If she wants to leave let her go, it sounds like she's looking for an excuse to leave anyway.
