Actually, HE IS CORRECT. It IS "regular" Christendom, or the World of Christianity at large.

Valentines day = pagan origin
Halloween = pagan origin
Christmas day = pagan origin
Yule tree = pagan origin
Yule log = pagan origin
Cross = pagan origin (see the God Tammuz from Babylon)
Easter = pagan origin (think fertility goddess Astarte with egg/rabbit)
on and on and on . . .

However, around 300 B.C.E., many of these were "accepted" by the "bishops and elders" along with Constantine the Great to bring "pagans" into Christianity and UNITE a "divided" kindgom. That was Constantines dream and he MADE IT HAPPEN.

U'r obviously anti Christian. I would think that its a natural progression for people to assimilate a new belief system by marrying it with old established practices

I was also anti Christian in my youth, but I've come to accept that most people need to be reminded what the purpose of their life is and every new prophet and the associated religion heralds a new age by updating the social laws which help to unite disparate tribes of people. check out www.bahai.org

Regular Christinanity.

Remember, they replaced all the pagan holidays to make the populations fall in line more easily.

They then took the Mother earth, and turned her into Mary.
They took the masculine part of God (like a bull) and turned him into the devil.
Etc, etc, etc

Christinaily is just pagainism applied by rulers to enslave humanity.

most beliefs have paganism in them, It is called being DRUNK on the blood of martyrs, Think of Christmas look at all the idols there Santa clause which just so happens to be really close to Satan Claws Think about it!! This is not what Christ meant!!! Lies within lies, like Christ said they encompass the land and the seas to make one big lie and when it is made you make them two fold the child of hell that you are. Can you not see that those churches ARE the Whore in the bible, Mystery of Babylon is the churches!!!! and their preachers!!! Do good to your fellow person!

I think you would be talking about Voudoun (voodoo) It takes the Catholic saints and applies them to the various Haitian god/dess' s. Also Most of your African religions do that. Then of course Christianity as it is practiced today is chock full of pagan practices. Look up the history of Christmas, Easter, and other holidays.

Depends on the details of the new religion.

If it was a religion that promotes peace without threatening violence. If its a religion that tolerates non-violent new ideas. If its a virtuous religion that understands that a message is just as important as a person, then yes I would have no problem with that religion.

But if you expect me to buy anything.......the deal is off.

An impossible religion. If that were true then it isn't Christian and it isn't pagan. The two do not mix. If you think it can happen then you better question your beliefs and what you stand for.

It could have started out pure in one generation and others misinterpreted its original intent and paganized it because the people could not adjust to its original pure teaching. That is what I believe what actually happened. Its major thrust was to adjust to the culture that its message was carried to. So you have a mixed up religion.

Christianity is exclusive of all other religions.. if you 'mix' it with something else it won't be 'Christian' at all.

Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life. NO-ONE comes to the Father (God) but by me."

Try mixing that statement with any other religion.
