don't know what you mean by "shotness of life" but I would say that he probably had a belly button, it just didn't serve the purpose that ours have. I would say that the human body hasn't changed since the dawn of man.

ya. that shotness of life..... life... giving you shots all the time.....
i don't understand where the shotness (or shortness) oflife in connected with your belly button. But generally peple believe that Adam did not have a belly button. And many creationists agree that people started dying sooner after the flood, when the atmosphere changed.

Adam and Eve didn't need belly buttons. Belly buttons are where the umbilical cord that fed the fetus inside the womb fell off after a baby was born. So, I would think Cain and Abel would be the first to have them.

What? The shortness of life. Belly buttons do not have anything to do with the shortness of life; they have to do with being attached to a placenta not being born. Adam was not born, he was created by God out of nothing according to a literal meaning belief in the Bible. How silly, there is evidence to the contrary just as there is to the earth not being the center of the universe.

Well I do not think he existed, but I would have to say no. The belly button is from the cutting of the umbilical cord. And supposedly he was not from a woman....

I guess that's true, you nuttos believe that old timey humans lived for hundreds of years, like gods. (about 6000 years ago, right)

Religion causes so much conflict. It's sad you speak about this "adam" as if he really existed.

I just flushed the story of adam down the crapper at http://flushaholybook.com

That's a really good question. Maybe it was a scar symbolizing a punishment and the presence of sin.....
It's a possibility.

I personally believe in evolutions. See creation in the Catechism:

I mean seriously read it. You'll have a better idea of Catholic theology.
