Usually 4 and all you have to do is go up to the school and register. Some schools have certain registration days and others you can just show up and register

There are some programs out there for 3 and 4 year olds but a preschool in a public school system take 4 or 5 year olds. Watch your local papers around the the last 2-3 months before school ends( where I live anyway) or just call your local public school. Some even send a letter to you.

Many places want the child to be in their third year, it varies.
While preschool may have some good attributes, it cannot and will not replace the love and attention the child requires from its mother and father!

My two year old has been admitted to head start. It is like preschool, but for people with less money. LOL. Good Luck.

Most school nowadays do have preschool programs. Call your local school district and find out which school closest to your home offers the program.

In my area the child has to be 3 years old or older. You can probably check with your local elementary school and they can direct you as to what you will need to have to register your child. I do know that you have to have certain documents such as birth certificate, social security number and update immunization record. Hope this helps you.

It depends on your state cut off where I live the cut off age is 9/1.
