I am a Christian... (and know I will be going to heaven when I die)
I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ (e.g., see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html ).
For scientific and intellectual evidence for the existence of God, see http://www.godsci.org/gs/godsci/evidence.htm
Cordially,
John

Im Jewish, but I find it hard to classify myself as any one religion. I think everyone has different beliefs and classifying them into one religion is a tad bit ridiculous. It is just societies way of organizing their thoughts and getting people to support them. I think that the belief in heaven is very much the same as the belief in an after-life. I think that it is foolish to think that when we die we will go up to heaven and see grandpa and grandma and live with them or what not. I still am not sure as to what I believe in as far as death is concerned, but I definitley dont believe I am going to meet Einstein and be an angle and all that. I also think it's ridiculous and arrogant for Christians to believe that the only way one can be accepted into heaven is believe in Christ as your personal savior. So if one believes in God, bot not in Jesus as their savior (i.e a Jew), does that mean they are going to hell? And does this theory mean that a priest who molests children is going to heaven because Christ is his savior? Shouldn't the belief in God be enough? Im not saying this because I am Jewish, but because I am a pesimist and a realist and I do not believe in any one religion.

I'm with James. Hell is a state of being separated from God, which only you can do because God would never abandon you. Hell is what happens when you run out of hope, and thereby extinguish all faith in God. Why do you think Dante's hell said "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here." Because if you have hope you can't be in hell, which is a state of being, not a location. Anyway, I'm sure I'm going to Heaven, the afterworld is a pretty cool place, and I'm happy.

This is a difficult one. I am not perfect or good enough to go to Heaven. Only God can decide if I go or not. No one can tell to Jesus what to do or not, He will decide so I don't know what I could tell him. He got the last word about me.

I believe all good people go to heaven. I also believe you will answer for everything wrong you have ever done regardless of if you go to heaven or hell, but God is the only one who can judge whats wrong and whats right.

Heaven is defined by our closeness to God through our positive actions. There is no hell in the afterlife, or the understanding of a "Christian hell" (devil, pitchforks etc.), only the absence of reflection of the light of God.
