BAGHDAD, July 29 — The tours of 4,000 American soldiers who had been scheduled to leave Iraq in the coming weeks have been extended for up to four months, signaling that there would almost certainly be no significant troop pullout before the year’s end. Military officials and analysts said this will end up like loser Vietnam because our troops are killed for nothing. We are losing the war and the everyday American is so stupid they don't even know it. The USA will go down in shame.

The Middle EastThe extension is part of the new security plan that President Bush and Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki announced last week in Washington. The plan entails sending thousands of American fools and Iraqi troops to the capital from elsewhere in Iraq to bolster the forces here, however, it really won't help because the USA military is getting a butt beating everyday.

Because Bush is a fscking idiot. He can't make a decision people make all his decisions for him. He's just a puppet of a much larger thing.

Of all the bills that came to bush he approved almost all of them without vetoing them or sending them back? That says alot. He signs everything. Infringes upon the rights of people, sets up domestic spying, sets up patriot act to take away our god given rights, all saying its for terrorism.

Apparently if its for "terrorism" you can do whatever the fsck you want to do these days, the bush administration has done an exellent job at scare tactics of terrorism towards the american people. Mention terrorism and boom you can do anything, and get away with anything, this has to be one of the biggest government crimes.

As for the ME? Wasn't war in Iraq declared done years ago? What happened? ..and now Condi Rice wants to send troops from US and Britian to Lebanon. No doubt the USA will go down in shame, there foreign policy has gone to hell, and we're pretty much going along with that if we keep supporting such a government.

You obviously weren't alive, or very old, during the Vietnam war, or you'd realize that "Military officials and analysts" is just an attempt to pull your lies over onto unsuspecting individuals. It may sound better than "they said", but it doesn't mean anything more. If you believe what you say, then you've got to be a democrat, because your sources you claim to have contradict those we who have friends and family in the war know to be totally different, and just because their tours of duty are being extended, and just because they, like my son, go in for a second tour of duty, doesn't mean we're losing the war or, like democrats / media like to spew forth, "this is another Vietnam". It simply means that continued deployment is a more intelligent way to conduct war than the way the democrats did in Vietnam. So, try to pull your bullshit over on someone else. I've got too much inside information to fall for your democrat / media / liberal nonsense, and I'm not impressed by your "military officials and analysts say" bullshit. Why don't you just say, "They say . . ." and admit you're just passing on liberal gossip that ain't worth the time or trouble. And I'll pass onto my son and his friends and the sons of friends we all know actually in Iraq, etc. that they're fighting to keep the likes of you free to be you. God help us. God Bless you.

Where is your proof that the military is upset with President Bush? Here is one fact. 4th ID and 101st Airborne just came back from tours in Iraq and had a reenlistment rate of over 100%. That means that they had more soldiers reenlist than they needed. Sounds like the military is real pissed.

that is one way to demoralise troops and once that happens you've lost the war. It's what happened in Vietnam, one very demoralised army. The strange thing was the American people treated their soldiers with scorn, instead of aiming their scorn at the politicians!

they all thought they were going to "save/defend America from terrorist"...9-11 (an excuse to steal gold and invade Iraq to suck oil)....they had no idea they were going to be left alone in a foreign country with absolutely no support from their "leader".
