The only vampire on record was Count Dracula, and yes he did eat normal food.

Well, since it is my understanding that vampires are not normal beings, then no, they would not need to eat normal food. Also, I've only known vampires to exist in movies and fictional books.

Well, personally I prefer a nice slice of raw beef garnished with the blood of frogs. That's just me of course.
