creating a site for my church

first draw a loose sketch on paper of what you would like to do so it can be easier to envision (ratehr than staring at the blank comp screen wondering what to do), then use a program like photoshop or illustator to make a mock up of the site (based on your sketch), and then get into dreamweaver and place everything using measurements and elements from your mock up. I also recommend u stay away from cheesy clip art which may spoil the real messgae you are trying to send

I created my own site by doing the coding myself, but one tip I have for you is to look at other sites and when you see something that you like and would like to incorporate on your site you can click the "view" button at the top of your browser and choose "source". The site code will open up in a notepad window and you can see how the person who made that site did what they did and do the same thing on your site.

surf the web and find a great looking template and save it to your computer and then open it in dream weaver and edit your stuff in and theres out!
