I work at publix(grocery store) and my managers cousin just got a job there and we've been "talking" but it doesnt feel right I LIKE HIM ALOT! help me please should i just say **** it and date him?or should i have more respect for my manager and forget about it?

I'm not sure I understand how dating the managers cousing would be disrespectful to your manager. It's a business relationship, not a personal one, right? So your personal life outside the store should not effect the business relationship. Unless there's some history between you or there some personal involvement then I say go for it. Now, that's also assuming the store doesn't prohibit co-workers from dating. In the end, if your uncomfortable with the decision you could always talk to your manager.
On the other side, It can create some uncomfortable moments should the dating go poorly. Imagine seeing the guy at work the day after a terrible date, or arguement, or bad whatever. That could create a problem.

If you do not mind down the road (if things do not work out or if the manager gets angry) being fired, then go ahead. Also, this "cousin" will have a lot of power over you since he is a relative of the manager. Is that something you want to get into? If you do, good luck. :)

Depends on how much you like your job. If things go badly between you and the cousin, it could cause a lot of tension for you and the manager. You may have to look for another job. If you really like him, and think he's worth the risk, go for it. He may end up being the love of your life.

forgot that,i've dated a coworker in the past and you two will only end up breaking up because everyone you work with is all in your business. you might want to think about that one, seriously. And just because he's the manager cousin and you two are dating, thatd doesnt mean that he wont still fire you.

ok, even though it might "feel right" i don't think you should do it. i mean hypothetically speaking- if it does not work out between you two, you'll still have to work there, right? and you don't want the cousins conversing about what may happen between you. there's nothing wrong with having a crush though, there's nothing wrong with having a little eye-candy at work. it makes the day go faster.

It's not about respect for your manager, it's about being BAD! NEVER, I repeat never, date anyone you work with. It never ends well, and you can bet that when it ends, and it will, that it won't be the MANAGER'S cousin who gets the boot.

If you date him and then you and him breakup,then it will be mighty uncomfortable to have to work with the manager and the cousin.
