anyone tried PaxilCR?

if so how many day it take you to help you feel better and did you had any side effect or anything i should now before taking that pills?

I took it for awhile. I thought it did better than regular Paxil, probably because it was control released and that is better for me cause I am always forgetting to take my medicine at the same time each day. Here are some side effects:

headache;
sleepiness or insomnia;
weakness;
nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation;
decreased sex drive, impotence, or difficulty having an orgasm;
dry mouth;
tremor, nervousness, anxiety trouble concentrating; or
changes in appetite or weight

The only side effect I had was constipation for awhile at first but now I don't have that problem. I remember reading it has the least side effects of most medicines in this catagory. It says it has to be in the system for at least 4 weeks but I know I could tell a difference in only 3 days. Hope it helps you.

I'm on it. It has made a big difference in me. It really depends on how long it'll take to make you feel better. Some people respond almost right away (within a few days) and others it may take a few weeks or so. I'd guess about 3 weeks on average. I find that it's best to take at night. I haven't had any side effects. I did on lexepro though. Felt like a ate a can of coffee and felt like I was going to jump out of my skin. It was horrible!

I was on lexapro which was ok at first and eventually, it seemed to just not work for me. Then I did the Paxil, it was ok...now on the Paxil CR and I really love it. I feel even during the day; however, if I'm tired it doesn't help with my being irritable. I have noticed that I sleep better with the Paxil CR. I'm happy My doc put me on it.

I took it for about a year.

I LOVED it. Although I saw no difference in CR and regular Paxil. It made me much happier and easy going.

Side effects for me: I was NEVER interested in sex. That was the only side effect.
