How can anyone be happy with millions of people coming into the country illegally. First of all those who come here illegally keep doing the same practices that brought Mexico down having children at an alarming rate is only history repeating it's self America is slowly going to be over populated that is how Mexico was left this is now slowly what the U.S.A. will be, to many people just poping out babies when their own needs are so great in effect illegals from Mexico are creating another Mexico. I ask you all these other countries that are at war, people by the thousands are being displaced left homeless without food or water and even shelter, I'm sure these people from these war torn countries would find Mexico to be paradise. Mexico has hardship but their hardship compares nothing to what these other 3 world countries have got. Mexico is not at war their people are not being displaced why do you find Mexico to be the neediest country out of all the countries in the world why is it Mexico who has twice as much as these other 3rd world countries suddendly the most important country on earth with the poorest people when it simply isn't true. I'm sure if people from these war torn countires arrived here the illegals would see what it feels like when they can't get no work cause these other people from other countries who enter the country illegally will under bid the Illegal mexican. Are you an illeagl or legal mexican for a matter of information?

There is no such thing as "pro-illegal." It is impossible to be pro-illegal. That would be like saying you are pro-criminal.
As for understanding the plight of illegal immigrants, I didn't need a "pro-illegal" to explain it to me. I personally know a lot of people trying to immigrate legally who have the same plight. I feel more sorry for them than for those who jumped the queue and broke the law and now think they should be made legal while those hundreds of thousands of other people facing a similar plight have to wait even longer because they are doing the right thing and the cheaters have taken their rightful places. So no, the "pro-illegals" haven't made me see anything. I don't make my decisions until I've looked at both sides. I wonder how many "pro-illegals" can say the same thing.
By the way, why don't we use the terms "pro-legal" and "anti-legal"? I am ABSOLUTELY pro legal immigration. (My husband and his family will be legal immigrants one day.) Anyone who is "pro-illegal" is in fact anti legal immigration because every illegal immigrant makes legal immigration that much more difficult.

Illegal emigration is a very complex problem, it can not be solve only deporting people or closing the borders. In my opinion is like the drugs, if nobody use drugs the black market will eventually disappear, same with illegal emigration if and illegal Alain try to find a job or where to live and he can not find it he or she will return to his original place but as long as the find a job and where to live nothing get solve, I think we need to make hard for illegal emigration to find a job or a place to live Note I'm completely in favor of legal immigration and for those who think that just because I'm in the USA I can not have the flag from my country that's wrong If you get a job in Jordan I'm sure you would like to have the American flag in some place.

I came into it not knowing anything and spent countless hours on it both in research and many many normal people, government agencies, interest groups, politicians and lawyers and even here a little bit - with an open mind as someone that has unwittingly contributed greatly to the situtation we are in.
Having said that, I have now chosen my side based on my convictions and resolve, and every argument that comes out for pro-criminal now is just veild in nonsense. After I learned the truth, that's when thinking about it stopped and action began.

I'm against Illegal Immigration. And not one single thing posted and or asked by those favoring Illegals has changed my opinion. I like to think I'm open minded but I personally don't get there side. Just my opinion.

The vast majority of people do not think, they simply act or react, no thought process involved, so I would say that by in large the answer to your question is no.
I have given both sides of the equation plenty of thought, and both sides have arguments worthy of consideration. Intransigence on either side however invariably leads to the current state of affairs.

"illegal immigrants are common criminals " These common criminals as you call them are as much criminals as the Europeans that first came to America whether they landed in today's Argentina or Newfoundland. The local American nations did not want nor did they accept our ancestors, our ancestors went on to make the US one of the best nations of the world, it is likely that the same will happen in the future due to the actions of these people that people like you try to keep out, much in the same way that the Native Americans did with our European ancestors.

I have plenty of thoughts already about Immigration. I would like people to not break the law. I respect that many people have much to offer and that the "system" is not the easiest thing to go through. However it is there. I know many who have done it the correct way. When I was in the lobster business whe had to bring in many canadians to do the work (because they were better trained at it because there is a larger lobster fishery in that country) When they came here they had a LOT of paperwork to go through and they DID it. They flew in Legally and worked legally they were GREAT workers and eventually they left. We still hadn't found anyone to replace them at the time I left the company.

A little bit. While I understand that illegals come to America in hopes of a better life and that I might do the same in their position, I still know that they are breaking the law. I think that there should be huge penalties for employers of illegals.

I presume you are talking about the situation in the USA. Illegals are essential to the prosperity of the US economy. They are doing the **** jobs no American wants to do like building the roads and infrastructure and working in fast food resturants. I can see the pro illegals point and also the anti illegal points

I've been educated and have changed my opinion on specific facets. Actually, now that I think of it, the first couple of weeks after I saw the marches I had gone from "of course there should be amnesty, but fix the problem" to "we're under attack deport them all" and I swung back when I stopped being so pissed.
However, the more I've learned about the impact, the more shocked I am that we have done so little for so long to stop it.
