I think the navigator has more power. The 2003 navigator is the first year of its generation where as the the bodystyle on the escalade has been the same since 1999. The navigator has more power equipment (power tailgate, runningboards, etc). The navigator sits on a stronger frame and has front structure that makes it safer in a frontal crash. im getting really technical here but what im trying to say is that the Navigator is safer, newer, and better than the escalade.

The escalade..its cadillac...come on now! made by chevy too!

navigators are OK..there a ford expedition...

Lincoln offers a 1 mpg more then the escalade's 5.3 (or 1.8 more then the 6.0)

better for what? they both run good ride good has lots a wood trimmings both come in 4 wheel drive. They both are thirsty for fuel I would say there is nothing that makes one better but personal preference.
