first you add the amount of hot water that the box says.......then, when the box says to add cold water, replace that amount with the vodka...

I have always made Jello in all types and colors then spoon it into shot glasses. Lined them up for your drinkers. One shot of Jello while still in mouth follow with a shot of Vodka. we call the game going to Jell(jail)

I substitute half of the water for vodka. It works! You still taste the vodka and they harden like jello. Anymore than 50/50, it will not solidify.

for good jello shots...

hot water = water
cold water = vodka

for strong jello shots...
hot water = vodka
cold water = vodka

use vodka instead of water!!! that will be potent enough!!! might have to finish gel process in freezer for 10 mins. I myself dont drink alcohol however.
