He's going to Missori, I'm stuck here in Reno. We've been together for 6 years, and I hope to marry this man. He's the ideal, the PERFECT man for me, and we've never lost the spark we had 6 years ago.

Problem is, he's going to a place where the girls are just as nerdy as him, and most certainly more attractive then I. How can I ensure that he stays with me and remains as heartily in love with me as he is now?

Aww he sounds like a good man... so email him, write, just make sure you KEEP IN TOUCH!! Ask him questions about things he's learning! Try and understand the world that he's going into! Maybe if you really want to you could plan a week end together, if you don't have classes and he doesn't either "trade schools for a weekend". Invite him down to stay at weekend a your school and you can show him your world. Introduce him to you friends, professors and just have a blast!
Then when your over you can scoop out the whole situation and your mind wont always imagine the worst possible sinario! You'll know what it's like!
Create new memories with him! So you'll have something to talk about!
Get creative with ways to keep in touch! Send a care package or poster!!
Have fun brainstorming! Don't get down it will work out!

You both need to dicuss how this is for
both of you and than work on a joint goal
to continue with this relationship.
Support him on this, since it is a future
he is working towards. Don't worry if
love is strong it can stand the test of
anything. It will take work on both sides
and true love all ways wins. Trust him.
Don't forget he might be thinking the same
thing, that you might find someone?

What is the saying.... If you love him set him free, if he comes back then he is yours forever, if not he was never yours to begin with.

Sorry, but long distance relationships almost never work.
