Sometimes Illegals get deported and are returned to the other side of the border. At which point they simply walk right back in. In some cases Illegals are given a court date and ordered to appear. ""Surprise"" Over 90% Never show up for that court date. WHAT A SHOCKER. There have been cases where ICE has raided a business and returned less than two weeks later to find the same people they busted right back there. This tells us TWO things Neither the Employer or the ILLEGAL have any respect for our laws.

There has not been a time in recent history when no illegals were deported. A lot that is happening now is a general hysteria, with exaggerations building on exaggerations.

I remember when my best friend told me he was really angry that immigrants never had to pay taxes. I couldn't believe my ears.

I told him that is not true, everyone here has to pay taxes on their incomes.

He insisted. My wife is an immigrant, and I fill out the taxes. I would know it if her income was not taxable. But, yet he insisted, with nothing but aggressive ignorance that immigrants did not have to pay taxes.

if someone is telling you no illegals are being deported, they are wrong.

Note that I am at this moment within ten miles of the border with Mexico, and the Border Patrol is running people across the border every day.

Yea those Illegals at the day labor sites who get paid cash the same day are really paying taxes!!! LMAO!! Oh yea I can really see that. (sarcasm)

And to answer the question, yes they do get deported when they are caught......but the problem is the dang border most illegals that get deported come right back over with no problems. And alot of these are criminals that have been prosecuted then deported.

Even the Senate bill once you get into the details of it most will become felons and have no job opportunities. It will be 1986 all over again and the six amnesties since that one.

Enough is Enough.

No Lamp, it wasn't Bush - it was May 1st. But since Bush was behind that, then I guess yes. Other than that, everything else you say it complete lies.

Frequently, if they get caught and are somehow identified as such. This occasionally has really unpleasant consequences, such as kids who were born here (and are, of course, citizens) who are left stranded because their illegal parent(s) get deported. It's a mess. Any alien convicted of a serious crime is likely to be deported; even some naturalized persons have had their citizenship revoked and been deported if the matter is serious enough.
