Unfortunately, this is a very sad situation..young people courageously going off to honor and fight for their country..but they don't realize what's actually going on. It is all very sad. If we had the Green Party and Ralph Nadar, all the energy of these courageous young people would be used to benefit everyone on earth...please people wake up and smell the Green!....its for our Mother..Mother Earth..and without her we are geez where would we be.

I have a neocon friend who's in the army. Also, the people who join the army do it of their free will. I don't like where our military is right now but I respect it. Yeah, I do. I respect what they stand for. Some soldiers may be bad soldiers and some wars may be bad wars. We have to all see that we do need our army. If you disagree with how it's run. Instead of asking questions that will only bring insults from the other side and agreements from the closest side, ask a question that can get people thinking. This doesn't. It sounds as biased as anything else.

Why don't you go tell those soldiers just how stupid they are. Oh be sure you do it face to face. They might explain to you a different point of view.
There may not be any NEOCONS fighting but you'll find a lot of people who vote for Republicans that are over there right now.

You give our soldiers to little credit, these are, by all account, the best armed forces we have ever had. Also, how the he$$ do you know who has showed up to fight? You don't know that there aren't some "neocon" sons and daughters in battle right now.

Libs who never fired a shot in their life would rather hide under their beds and post anti American crap All day. What have you ever done for your country? Your just the kind of sorry Sob we had to rescue from Beruit. Then when you get rescued they moan and whine that the are not on the Love Boat or something. You enjoy this nations benefits one hand but curse it with another. And when we do fight, We are not neocons, or libs(or what ever you call yourselves this week) WE ARE AMERICANS. I completely agree with you there mate, neocons are the ones who declare war at ease, when its the normal people who enlist. These fools need to start respecting america because it aint them who fight, and whats the deal in supplying a crazy guy who already declares his intentions with specific weaponary only to accuse him for war crimes, they should blame themselves too!

Your premise is generalized crap. I am conservative most of the time. My father is conservative. My son is also conservative. (See the pattern here?) My Dad is a Vietnam vet, flew hundreds of missions in a USMC dustoff helo, finally came home 5 months into a second voluntary tour when he got half of his left foot shot off flying out wounded Marines. I served 6 years in the USMC, and was in Beirut when our barracks got taken out in 1983. My son is in the Marines right now. He's in a hospital in Germany recovering from wounds he received in combat in Iraq. We all did what we did in service to our country (which includes guys like you), not for some ghost corporation the Left cooked up. That kind of comment belongs in the National Enquirer. Obviously, you don't know what the hell you are talking about.

Oh yeah, and the fact that McCain himself is a decorated war hero? And that I myself am a registered Republican who served 2 tours in Iraq?
As much as the Lefties in this country paint the right as unwilling to serve in the military, why is it that the majority of the military votes Republican? It's because the right is putting their asses where their mouths are, unlike the Dems.

I know what I got into when I signed the contract over 20 years ago and it wasn't a corporation I signed on for. If it were I definitely would be making more money than what I am and my wife would not have to skimp and save at times to pay rent. I don't know what planet your from but thanks for the though of confidence... NOT!

You missundertand the meaning of Soldier.
In the USA citizens become Soldiers.
This may be a new and strange idea to you.
American citizens believe in the values our country is based on.
May I suggest, when you get the time, you read about American history.
If you do perhaps you will discover about courage, integrity, honor, and fidelity.
