If I'm 26 and he's 45, does that come off as an "inappropriate" relationship?
Obviously, age doesn't matter... But what's your first impression?
Just trying to get an "objective" view...

if you love each other its very appropriate. age is a state of mind.
i had the opportunity to have more then just a friendship with a 25 year old,I'm 45, a couple of years have passed since then. my thought was when I'm 80 and she is 60 she will be will be young and vibrant and i might be crippled up and i couldn't do that to someone i love.
we are still good friends. long story short i married her older sister and she is engaged to a 50 year old.
if you prefer older men go for it. it many countries it is the norm

I'm a 45 year old man and I've always been attracted to younger women from early 20's - mid 30's. Wish I could find a younger woman now!

It's not the norm, but it's not too bad. My personal thing is if they are old enough to be my mom, then they're outta my range, but to each their own. Good luck with him. :)

I date younger women all the time.

My sister tells me that they are only after my money. I tell her that that's what it's for!

A golf buddy once said to me, "Dude, she half your age!" I said, "Don't be insulting. She's not that old!" LOL
