No they aren't the slaves are the ones that work for an hourly wage building things the military needs. They are union stiffs who cringe every time the company they work for loses a contract.
I can see from all your posts you don't know a thing about the military or why they serve. The men and women in the military believe in this country and what it stands for more then you ever will.

You missundertand the meaning of Soldier.
In the USA citizens become Soldiers.
This may be a new and strange idea to you.
American citizens believe in the values our country is based on.
May I suggest, when you get the time, you read about American history.
If you do perhaps you will discover about courage, integrity, honor, and fidelity.

Of course not. Every soldier signed up voluntarily. And there are kids who are serving in Iraq with their parents -- all soldiers. Are you really as dumb as your question implies?

Soldiers are quite well trained and know what is expected of them and do it with deep comradery and love/respect/pride for their country. To call them slaves is laughable. They know what they are doing and they are in every facit of the word "courageous men and women of valour" to be respected and esteemed in their homeland.

They don't "send" them because they cannot force them to go. We are a free people with an all volunteer military. Any original thoughts in your head, or are you just good at regurgitating other lefties comments?
