Lol...it depends. Would this be a one one one race or a race involving teams? Would the race be on a flat course or would it be mountainous and hilly? It might be better if it were part of a large scale tour. The Tour de Heaven perhaps with the last stage being at the pearly gates. God would have power to create as challenging a course as possible and would be able to part the hills so Jesus didn't bonk out on any stage. Plus, Jesus would have talent from the past to recruit, Jacques Anquetil, Fausto Coppi, Charly Gaul, Sylverio Maes, Rene Vietto, and a multitude of riding greats. Lance would have to pick his team from what was available and unsigned here on earth. Jesus would have an edge because he would know the course better, but Lance's natural talent could lead to an upset.

Ecclesiastes 9:11 "The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong."
Translation: Jesus would have a several spectators catch Lance's handle bar with handbags, bringing him down on the climb.

Only if Lance prays. Then Jesus will let him win. But seriously, Jesus wouldn't use his powers to win, unless he had a reason to prove a point. Therefore Lance wins easily(Jesus prefers walking).

And assume both contestants are alive....

I think Lance would win, because I don't think Jesus would do all that well in sandals.

Jesus would pay some little kid in the crowd to knock lance over and Jesus would win.

Knowing Jesus, he'll let Lance win.

It would depend entirely on whether Jesus intended to win or not. I personally can't imagine a scenario in which the need for that might come up, but who am I to say? LOL.

Well, pro cycling is in some way about being bodily and mentally tortured...so, I think Jesus would win, if things were all "equal". However, we are talking about Jesus right?

What a question...hehe

Cheers
Good riding!
