Yeah, I just lit my steak scented candles and I had a fit. I had to rush out and buy two baked potato candles. Thank God, I didn't have room for the creme brulee candles on my mantle.

The food-scented ones? Like sugar-cookie? I don't particularly get food cravings from that. It seems too sweet for me. The nature-scented ones just make me feel like taking a bath...haha.

For other people? I don't really know. Maybe. I just find the food scents overwhelming. I'm thinking it isn't the actual smell but the words. I know seeing the words "chocolate" or "cookie dough" can lead to the visual of that particular food. Maybe that causes cravings?

It could work two ways. 1) You smell the aroma of vanilla and can't wait for the cake to come out of the oven in your mind. or 2) You smell the vanilla candle and it satisfies you into believing you have eaten this thing. Like people who work in candy factories, sometimes after a week they hate chocolate! I guess this didn't help at ALL, did it? >^ . ^<
