this will be an awesome time...but the Christians wont be here to see it we will be gone already ....but they are suppose to be here and it is as you say spread the word of god and they can cause fire to rain down and cause famine and drought....etc....but they will be at one time struck down dead in the street and the world will rejoice and celebrate their demise and even goes as far as to bring gifts and then they Will lay in the streets as the bible says for 3 days and the whole world will see this ..I think that is where CNN comes in ....and then they will awaken from the dead after the third day and rise up....it will be a sight to see.....many I pray will come to know the Truth....but the whole story is in revelations ....read it...

I think the two witnesses are the Word of God and the Body of Christ--the Bible, and Church.
I think this world will see Christianity "die", and they will rejoice, because they see Christianity as an outdated religion that gets in everyone's way. They will be totally amazed when, after a time, God raises His church back to it's feet...

For what it's worth, that's my interpretation of the two witnesses.....

I have heard it mentioned many times and I speak on it a lot too. Simply put, it is the old and new testaments. If you want to know more about it, check out the site below and do the studies and you will learn all about it. Lots more to it than I have said here so you need to go to the site to learn more.

from what I've read, the church will be raptured before this happens. If this is so, I won't be here. The two guys seem to be some kind of servants they say elijah and moses. I guess the witnessess see their purpose is more important than who they are. anyhow, they are eventually killed. . . martyred actually.

What are you talking about? Was that in Revelations? It's been a while since my last read through. And frankly, I'd rather read Dickens than the Bible.

From what I understand-you do not want to be here when they are.
