No longer in effect, that's what.

Eph 2:15 Through his body on the cross, Christ put an end to the law with all its commands and rules. He wanted to create one new group of people out of the two. He wanted to make peace between them.

Oh, I see error on the 7 deadly sins side. it comes from:
Pr 6:16 There are six things the LORD hates. In fact, he hates seven things.
Pr 6:17 The LORD hates proud eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that kill those who aren’t guilty.
Pr 6:18 He also hates hearts that make evil plans, feet that are quick to do evil,
Pr 6:19 any witness who pours out lies, and anyone who stirs up family fights.
... at least that is the list I'm used to hearing called that.

Then God spoke all these words: saying: (1)"I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage:
”I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery; (2) you shall have no other gods before me. (3) You shall not make for yourself an idol, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. (4) You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing children for the iniquity of parents, to the third and the fourth generation of those who reject me, (5) but showing steadfast love to the thousandth generation of those who love me and keep my commandments. (6) You shall not make wrongful use of the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not acquit anyone who misuses his name. (7) Remember the sabbath day, and keep it holy. (8) For six days you shall labour and do all your work. (9) But the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God; you shall not do any work—you, your son or your daughter, your male or female slave, your livestock, or the alien resident in your towns. (10) For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but rested the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and consecrated it. (11) Honour your father and your mother, so that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you. (12) You shall not murder. (13) You shall not commit adultery. (14) You shall not steal. (15) You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour. (16) You shall not covet your neighbour’s house; you shall not covet your neighbour’s wife, or male or female slave, or ox, or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbour.

Pope Gregory the Great (d. 604) described Seven Deadly Sins in his Moralia in Job.

1. Superbia - Pride
2. Invidia- Envy
3. Ira- Anger
4. Avaritia -Sloth
5. Tristia -Wrath
6. Gula -Gluttony
7. Luxuria -Lust

They are called "deadly" because the church made a division between sins which were venial and could be forgiven without the need for the sacrament of Confession and those which were capital and merited damnation. Capital or Deadly Sins were so called because they could have a fatal effect on an individual’s spiritual health. British wall paintings stressed the connection between committing the Deadly Sins and ending up in Hell.

UPDATE: the 7 deadly sins arent in the Bible. They were introduced in the later part of the 6th century A.D. by St. Gregory the Great (d. 604) in his work Moralia in Job.

+ Ten Commandments +

There are actually three versions of the Ten Commandments, Jewish, Catholic (and Lutheran), and Protestant.

With the new revelations of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit in the early Catholic Church, a slightly different emphasis was placed on different commandments.

Then 1500 years later, the Protestant in objecting to certain Catholic practices, once again changed the emphasis of the Ten Commandments.

4. You shall remember the Sabbath and keep it Holy.
5. Honor you mother and father.
6. You shall not murder.
7. You shall not commit adultery.
8. You shall not steal.
9. You shall not bear false witness.
10. You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor.

just a note that the ten commandments are guidelines to live by under the Mosaic law. To live by them you must provide a sacrafice to atone. Under the New testament, the Blood has been shed in Sacrifice already
