I usually laugh at most of them because the side effects are worse than the cure. If you feel bad, than why take a medicine that will give you worse problems? Weird?

They're probably trying to cover all their bases and avoid law suits. However, I agree with you. Why take a pill for a problem that will cure that problem but give you 50 more problems?? Don't make sense to me!! (I'll keep the toenail fungus and forgo the liver problems!)

It drives me nuts. The pharmecutical industry has the biochemistry all wrong. What they fail to realize when creating synthesized versions of naturally occurring substances (which most medicines are) they do not account for the natural buffers that are built in to the natural form of that medicine. The side effects are a result of improper utilization of the key element without proper investigation of the supporting chemical makeup of the natural form.

Oh yeah! Don't forget that if you have side effects, you might pay more money to them to give you a pill for the side effects. You know, self purpetuating cycle.

They have to warn you about possible side effects. They aren't saying everyone will experience them, but some people might. Even a simple aspirin or Tylenol can cause serious side effects in some people.

that it's not worth taking because the side effects are going to cause more problems so now you have problem on top another problem

As u said, yes. but the real funny part is that they often say it in such a nice voice-like its great to have a headache and diarreah!
I think most of them are pretty stupid and some are just annoying.

Drug companies have to reveal possible side effects and more importantly who should not be taking their drugs...defending against class lawsuits are not fun.
