The best way is to go to the library and look at a few books on that subject. Try researching what exactly a person in that field does.
Ultimately, if that didn't help, take a class and see if it really interests you.
Trust me, what you feel right now, pretty much everyone has felt! As long as you focus on what will bring you the most joy, then that's the best decision.

i like lucy is hilarious. i've got watched that tutor considering i became approximately 8, i'm 13 now! :P i in my opinion additionally like basically classic cartoons like Spongebob or The Simpsons, rather atypical mothers and fathers too. additionally Icarly, the secret life of the yank teen, and game shows. :D

get a text book on forensic science and start reading
if you can make it through 4 chapters then it is general interest
if you a bored stiff by the lack of hookers, strippers, and bad boyfriends, then go another way.

Talk to a prosecutor, criminal defense attorney, and a cop. Find out what they do in a typical day. If it holds your interest, see if you can shadow one for a couple of hours.

take biology , chemistry, law and maths in high school. If you like that, you just may be suited for that kind of job. I wish they had had that kind of college courses when I was young.
