There are some people out there that are so against immigrants that lives are being threatened. What has our country come to? Is there that much hate in this country that we would take the life of another? I am afraid to let people know my nationality in fear that someone will harm me or my children. Did it have to come down to this? What do you guys think?

It didn't have to come down to it, but humans always think to do things either the easy way, or the way that gives more thrill. There's hate everywhere, it's a part of life. But there ARE people out there who don't care what your race is, and will accept you for who you are. I'm sorry to say that the majority seems to side with the hating.

I myself am against people entering this country Illegally HOWEVER I have No problems with anyone from any nation that chooses to come here legally. It shows NO RESPECT for our laws when you start out pursuing the American dream by Breaking the law. I no the HUGH claim of the PRO illegals is Gee all they wanna do is support there family. Well there are MILLIONS of people who find ways to support there families every day WITHOUT breaking the law.

I am convinced that sooner or later somebody somewhere will shoot somebody that he/she thinks is undocumented in this country. When that happens these undocumented people will at first fear for their lives and run which will only make these vigilantes even bolder, at some point the undocumented people in the States will start fighting back and when that happens all hell will break loose. It will be a free for all that will make the middle east today look like the Garden of Eden.

Nobody in this country is against Immigrants. If they were we all would pretty much have to leave. What we are against is ILLEGAL Immigrants. If you are Illegal, it would be wise to turn yourself in, or get out. But as a legal Immigrant you have this nation backing you up 100%.

I have nothing against immigrants. I just hate ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. Anyone who wants to work within the rules and come to America legally, welcome in and join the crowd. Illegals are breaking the law just being here, and statistically more prone to breaking other laws. The vast majority of outstanding warrants for murder in Los Angeles county are out for illegal immigrant murderers. A lot of Mexicans seem to come here, living off my tax dollars, refusing to even learn to speak/read/write American English, using our hospitals and schools without paying taxes for them.

you are forgetting that there are more people killed not only law enforcement on our border than our troops that die in iraq every year now from the mexican army and other militants.

i even asked a question about it a couple days ago and the responses I got was that it was OK to kill Americans.

both of our governments better cut the **** out and recognize or there will be more of the same.

The Republicans are stirring up domestic problems so they can distract us from the war during the mid term elections.
Another legacy of the deadly Bush administration.

I think that people who threaten people's lives should be locked up.

I'm against illegal immigration, but I am pro civilization.
