Why wouldn't a husband want to sleep with his wife. He would want to if he loves her!
That is part of marriage, loving each other.

Rude? No -- not rude, but unusual. There may be a reason for it. He snores, or she snores. He is a restless sleeper, or she is a restless sleeper. There may be any number of reasons, and it would be interesting to know what the reason is in this case. Do the husband and wife share the same room? Lots of couples prefer twin beds to a double bed. Separate rooms are a whole different issue, unless there are reasons for requiring that much privacy.

People sometimes have very different sleep patterns or styles, they prefer the light on and their partners can only sleep in the dark, one of them snores and the other is a light sleeper, some prefer a bit of music to fall asleep and their partners need complete silence....but they love each other and they love to live together!
I hardly think this natural occurences could be considered 'rude'or abnormal....people can have fun, sex and share a miriad of things without having to "sleep" together 365 days a year.

Maybe one of them snores too loud for the other to get any sleep -
maybe one tosses and turns far too much and the other can't sleep -
maybe maybe maybe...
I would feel devastated if my husband didn't sleep with me.. but on some nights, I do understand.. some nights, I'm the one that leaves the bed..
I wouldn't suggest staying out of the marital bed for very long though.. seek help/advise..

Well, if he tosses and turns, farts, burps and generally hogs the sheets all night long, I'd say no. Just get together when you want to bonk each other's brains out.
When we go on vacation we often get twin beds just to give each other a break on the "sleeping" front. The "bonking" can occur either on home or away beds.

Not if
1. they had a big fight
2. the wife is so ugly the husband can't stand her which brings us to the question why did he even marry her in the first place?
P.S.
maybe the girl is rich though.

My grand parents were married for over 50 years. They had separate bed rooms. One of my friends never sleeps with his girl friend because when he sleeps he hits people.
What are his reasons? You didn't tell us that so how can we intelligently answer your question?

Rude? There's a much larger problem here than someone being rude.

If it's all the time, it's not rude, it's more like the marriage needs help.
