I know how you feel. I'm a Military wife, and I've had to deal with the long separations and deployments.
First, connect with with other Military wives. Rather it's on the computer or face to face. It helps to talk to someone who knows what you're going through. I don't know what you like to do, so it's difficult to tell you how to pass the time. I got out of the house as much as possible, I read a lot, spent time with friends...And I cleaned my house way more then any house needs to be cleaned! Don't beat yourself up if you have a day that is harder then others, because that will happen.
I wish you the best!

If you are near a military base there are always a lot of opportunities to do volunteer work.

You need to stay busy. Get a job, if you want to. Go to school, if you have the opportunity or desire. This is a good opportunity to do some reading. Get a library card and spend a half-day a week (or more) at your public or base library.

If you have any children get involved with school activities, and if you don't you can still spend time at schools helping out, maybe as a teacher's aide.

Church activities are also good, including chapel activities at your military base or post.

My hubby is deployed right now and what I do is take college classes, do photography, hang out with some other deployed airmen's spouses, and go to the gym, of course my kids take up a lot of my time.
