Hey, you don't seem like a retard. You seem like a nice girl for asking this question how you did. I think making the kiss meaningful is nice. Don't just kiss the guy like you just want to be physical. Let him know he's special, tell him how you feel about him, and look into his eyes right before the kiss. So that the kiss is a physical expression of your feelings for him.
Let him know he's great by talking to him, then back it up with the kiss romance ^_^ Go for it
