i think, if you dont know english, dont come here. and definately dont try to talk to me with your broken up dialect. i dont want to have to concentrate on interpreting your garbled sentence structure. i wouldnt try to go to another country without learning the basics first. prejudice towards other races i am not. but walking in my neighborhood and communicating is nearly impossible. why should i learn their language, they didnt bother to learn ours and their in our house. i say screw them and if they dont know english, make them pay money every week theyre here until they learn. english classes are free. i dont worry about their feeling towards this post because the f**kers cant read it hah hah hah. how bout you? wanna vent on these tax consuming indivduals

You make me sick. This not only is not a question, but is a total misjudgement of what these people are. Your generalizations put so many hard working immigrants in a pit! They provide the backbone of this economy, whether you see that or not, and without them, you wouldn't be living the decent life you're living right now I'm sure. Show a little respect for those who want to come here and don't judge. We here in America are one of the few countries which isn't bilingual. Why not learn spanish? Look at Canada! It's bilingual: French and English. Most kids in Europe become fluent in a second language before middle school. Many latinos try as well. You can't generalize the fact that those who live in sub-communities that are more spanish speaking are all the same. Some do try! Don't generalize please!

>if you dont know english, dont come here.
You don't own your country, and you cannot ban immigrants by just posting your rant on Y! Answers.
I recommend you to become the president of the United States and make the toughest anti-immigration law so that you can kick all the immigrants out of your country.
Right now, you are an incompetent, incapable, and ineffective man who can't do what he wants to do but talks a load of garbage.
By the way, I'm Japanese and live in Japan. I look forward to seeing you as an influential person, not as a criminal, on TV or newspaper someday!
P.S. Please forgive my broken English, and I hope you interpret my "garbled sentence structure" well....

Maybe you should improve your own English grammar before ranting about an already exhausted topic.
How is the topic exhausted? There are over 12 million illegal and illiterate, grubby mexicans in this country using up resources without paying, they hate us and our culture and language but love our money. This is ON GOING, and will not be an exhausted topic until it has been rectified. The majority are with you dude, send the packing if they refuse to learn the language.

Yeah well let me tell you something. I went to the German yahoo answers thing and attempted not only to ask questions in German but also to answer them. I had a hell of a time. Same thing in the French sector.
So I can have a little sympathy if know what I mean.
I even tried to sell my points to the Germans. I said "Wer mochte meine Punkte kaufen? Ich habe fast zwei tausent, und ich will mein Level 3 damit geben."
Yeah well guess what, they reported me, and I got this evil reprimand in triplicate, one copy went to my email, one copy to the yahoo reprimand file and one copy to catch-all bin.
So let's all just have a little sympathy for people who are trying to communicate okay. English isn't the only language, you know; on the other hand I understand your opinion too.

Yea for you, English is the language of this country, it's the language of business, ship captains, air line pilots, it's the basic language for the world! Learn English or get the hell out of here!

Couldn't agree more. I sometimes realize how MY speech changes to help people understand. The cold hard fact is that our children will need to know a second languge because english won't be the first language in America forever. Pathetic.

Wow, aren't you an angry man... For your info, in my country (Finland) kids are taught to learn English from the 3rd grade. How is your Finnish language studies going?
Seems you just wanted to insult non-Americans. How many languages can you speak, jerk?
Idiootti jo syntyessään, vitun luuseri. :D

The U.S.A. does not have an official language. Did your ancestors know English when they came here?

At least they have an excuse for their language foibles. You, however, are just plain stupid. Heard of an apostrophe? Or the Shift Key, for crying out loud.

Preach on!!! My ancestors came to this country and HAD to learn English, and WORK for everything they had, not demand that the government cater to them and pop out children to stay on welfare.
